Customer Review:

“After drowning in a sea of sexist comments from other car dealerships, I found myself exhausted and hangry at MMC. I was met by Jeff who put me at ease straight away. I had such confidence in the dealership that I bought my used L200 from them without even test driving it! I am now sat in the service area having a few tweaks sorted (all under warranty) and have already had a coffee brought to me. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough!” – 5 stars – Facebook

The staff were all so wonderful and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us! Our room was cosy and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfy, and although we didn’t bring our dogs I’ve never been anywhere so accommodating for canine companions!! The food was excellent and the cosy, rustic feel of the entire hotel made us feel right at home! Lovely to wake up right next to the river and see all the ducks and herons too, really perfect and such a reasonable price, couldn’t recommend enough!!” – 5 Stars – Facebook

Best Leisure & Tourism Award, Sponsored by Windle & Bowker Ltd

Overall Best Skipton Business Award, Sponsored by Tyro Training

Winner: Thornton Hall Country Park

Thornton Hall Farm at Thornton-in-Craven is well worth a visit whatever the weather.   As most of the animals and activities are contained within their large barn, there’s much to see and do without braving the elements.

The barn itself provides plenty of open space for children to toddle around whilst mums and dads enjoy refreshments from the on-site cafe.  A giant slide takes pride of place in the centre of the barn and – if you can persuade them to get off! – you’ll also find areas for children to ride around on pedal-powered tractors or explore large sand pits with mini JCBs.

Customer Review:

“Came across this place by chance online whilst visiting the area. Was worried there wouldn’t be much for my 1 year old to do but she LOVED it and so did we! Their website really doesn’t do it justice.
We are already planning another trip to the area just so we can visit again !!” – 5 stars – Facebook
