This week, we showcase photography from a young, up and coming photographer, 15-year-old Jude Kershaw, we asked him to send in some of his work, along with a comment on each of the photos.
Enjoy his work, here!
Here’s a photograph I snapped one morning of Holy Trinity Church, showing it’s charm on an early summer’s morning. I admire this shot as it is very simple but also quite charming.
This is a photograph of my good friend Kirsty, it’s quite contemporary in look but inspiration taken from the past hence the 1940s outfit. The soft aperture produces a wonderfully soft background.
This is a photograph of my great grandmother taken sometime in the 1920s. Admittedly I didn’t take this photograph, but I spent several hours colourising the image to give a period hand-tinted look. I like this photograph as I feel it is important to know where we’ve come from as people and I find family history so interesting!
