The Martin House shop on Sheep Street has been open for a number of years but over the past 12 months, it has gone from strength to strength. Revenue has increased considerably, staff morale is better than ever and locals are making those crucial donations to keep the stock levels up.

Back in May, we published an article announcing that the Skipton shop had been shortlisted for the ‘Charity Shop of the Year’ award at this year’s Charity Retail Awards. It is with tremendous pleasure that we can now confirm that the Martin House Hospice shop beat a record number of nominated shops to win the award!

Andrina Reynoldson, Shop Manager, said:

“So proud of my team, yet humbled to have won with so many fabulous shops out there. It’s lovely to have gained recognition for all our hard work and dedication. Thank you to all our wonderful supporters and customers who make our work raising vital funds for the hospice such a pleasure. Go Skipton!”

Sincere congratulations to Andrina and her team of dedicated staff, who work tirelessly to raise money for the sick and terminally ill children treated by Martin House Hospice.
