Skipton’s family-run cafe, Mamma J’s, has temporarily closed for business whilst a change in premises takes places. Previously located on Cavendish Street, the cafe will be moving to The Old Fire Station on Coach Street at the start of July.
Located in one of the town’s main car parks, Mamma J’s will be more accessible for their customers than the Cavendish Street cafe. Owner, Jo Jennings, will still be serving her famous home-cooked meals and albeit much smaller, there will still be a play area for young children.
As the most infant-friendly cafe in Skipton, we are sure many local parents will be eagerly awaiting the new opening. Jo assures us that there will be very little change to the business model and children of all ages will still be welcomed and catered for, despite the closure of their partner business, Little Munchkins.
We would like to wish Jo and her team all the best with their relocation and we are very much looking forward to seeing the new cafe.
