Not too long ago, we published an article about the exciting new animation project called Studio1. Here’s a quick update on the project along with an exciting proposition for Skiptonians! Their new animated film is in production now!
This 5 minute long stop-motion animation is made from the magical inspiration dust of Skipton, Craven District and The Dales. Virpi has transformed some familiar Skipton locations into animation sets and actual people who live here into look-a-like breeds of dogs… The real stories she has heard in her few years in the area have been carefully woven into an exciting film script!
Whats more, people are welcome to visit Studio 1 and see the animation being made in real time! Open visiting days are: Friday and Saturday, noon till 4pm. She also invites locals to become animated characters in the film or otherwise support the making of DOGS’ DALES and will reward you with your name in the film credits, along with many other lovely perks to be found in the crowdfunding page: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/dogs-dales-animation
