This gorgeous Dogue de Bordeaux came to Aireworth Dogs in Need back in March. He was found abandoned and tied up in Dewsbury and was in a terrible condition. He had ulcers on his corneas and lacerations all over his eyes; vet treatment started straight away.
He was taken into foster and was given love, care and medical treatment over the next few months. His fosterers named him Sunny because they wanted a positive and happy name to represent the start of his new life of safety.
Finally, in June Sunny was given the all-clear from the vet and having been fully assessed whilst in foster in terms of his temperament and needs he was adopted by his new family. He is loved and adored and is able to put his troubles behind him.
If you’d like to help a pup like Sunny, please get in touch with Aireworth Dogs in Need, or keep an eye on our regular articles, where we exhibit some of the rescue dogs currently in need of a home.
