Skipton’s Martin House charity shop is holding an ‘egg-citing’ Easter tombola to help raise much-needed funds for the Yorkshire-based children’s hospice.
Martin House provides family led care for children with life shortening conditions and offers respite and practical support to their families.
Time spent in the hospice varies from child to child. Some may spend a short time in the hospice, receiving palliative care for terminal cancers. Those with diseases such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Batten’s Disease may use the hospice for a much longer period.
Shop Manager, Andrina Reynoldson, is reaching out to local businesses and the local community for prize donations. Many local businesses such as Woody’s Hairdressers, Helene’s Tearooms, Balti King and Little Munchkins have already generously donated some ‘egg-cellent’ prizes.
To make a donation, please visit the Skipton shop located on Sheep Street.
Tickets may be purchased from the shop for £1 per 5 tickets and the draw will take place on Monday 17th April.
