Craven Museum & Gallery is hosting a talk about their current exhibition ‘Artyfacts’ which features stunning works of art created by those living with dementia and their carers. The informal talk, open to all, will reveal the theory and processes behind the project from those who led this ground-breaking work.
The lead artist and Creative Arts & Dementia Manager from Pioneer Projects, an arts and health charity who worked with groups of adults who are living with dementia to develop the exhibition, will present the talk on Thursday December 15th at 4pm.
The Artyfacts project was developed as a collaboration between Craven Museum and Gallery, and Pioneer Projects, as part of the Arts Council funded Museum Resilience Project.
Tickets are free but places are limited, so people are asked to book their place by calling Skipton Town Hall’s Tourist Information Centre on 01756 792809.
