Home and Gifts
We sell and install Log Stoves, Fireplaces and Renewable Heating systems such as Biomass, Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal.
Our showrooms are open to the public while our warehouse supplies Heating Engineers and Heating Companies across the UK with specialist heating parts and appiances.
Choice Baskets are sourced from all over the world and are beautifully made from the best quality wicker, rattan and seagrass materials. We are careful to deal only with fair traders and we are proud to display the “Ethically Sourced” logo to demonstrate our commitment to this policy.
The range of baskets exclusive to Choice Baskets is growing and now includes: Storage baskets in 5 sizes and 3 heights, plus a matching square basket, craft/picnic baskets with removable linings and lids, open baskets with swing handles and natural linings, and a variety of cutlery baskets in both wicker and seagrass.
Choice Baskets are the ‘supplier of choice’ for thousands of home-makers, craft specialists and hobbyists who want to add their own flair to a project around the home. They make a great starting point for a birthday, Easter or Christmas gift and can be used to create a food hamper, a baby gifts basket, or many other types of personalised presents.
Wicker storage baskets are particularly popular after Christmas and Birthdays as a way to tidy-up all those new presents. Rattan or wicker logs baskets are always popular; in the Winter they are clearly practical and in the Summer – well – they just look great.
At Choice baskets we pride ourselves in providing an efficient and personal service. All of the rattan, seagrass and wicker storage baskets on the Choice Baskets website are available to buy individually, so customers are not forced to purchase sets of baskets when they really only want one.
If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact me, I have access to hundreds of baskets from my many suppliers.
Hello and welcome to Florence and Grace – handmade and bespoke signs for children and families.
I’m Cathryn, the creative force behind Florence and Grace, which was created after many years of working towards running my very own small craft business.
Founded in 2011, Florence and Grace was born from a career in textiles, business and marketing, coupled with my love for colours, patterns and textures. I wanted to find the perfect ‘job’ to fit in with my experience and my family, and I’m delighted to use my creativity to produce high quality, handmade signs for hundreds of customers while also being able to stay at home with my three children. All of this takes place in my ‘sheshed’ in the corner of my garden which is nestled in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. A real dream come true!
I create signs with names or words for children’s bedrooms and the home, which are often bought as new baby gifts, children’s birthday gifts, and christening presents. My designs are inspired by my love of colourful (often pink and flowery!) fabrics, typography and surface pattern designs. I love being able to add some vintage charm and heirloom-quality gifts to your home!
Every piece is handmade to order, and I take time, care and attention to make each piece perfectly. It’s not always a quick process, but my customers often feedback on my high quality craftsmanship and customer service, which I take great pride in.
So whether you’re looking for a gift or something for your own home, please have a look around at my current collection.
For something a little different or bespoke pieces, please get in touch – I’d love to help!
Have you ever said “I wish I could make one of those”, “How do I do that” or “I can’t even sew a button on”? Well, now is your chance to give your needlework skills a kick start!
Being able to make clothes for yourself or your family and friends, alter something store bought to give a perfect fit or to produce soft furnishings for your home is easier than you may think, and this is the place to start. We have classes tailored to suit different needs, delivered in a relaxed and comfortable environment by qualified tutors who are passionate about their subject. There are courses available for beginners in sewing, knitting and crocheting.
All courses are non-accredited with ongoing assessment and class sizes are kept small to ensure individual support. One day workshops in knitting or crochet basics include a light lunch. Courses include the absolute beginner, fashion, Roman blinds, curtains, crafts, alterations, quilting and we have many returning students who build on their skills with follow-on courses. We have even had several learners who have gone on to build businesses with their skills.
