Poor ol’ Guy Fawkes, he gets a lot of bad press.  Yes there was that naughty wanting to blow up Parliament thing he got mixed up in, but just imagine, without him we wouldn’t have the yearly spectacular of fireworks and bonfires to look forward to!  And luckily for those of us in Skipton we have two 5th November firecrackers to choose between…

Experience a majestic bonfire against the breathtaking backdrop of the priory ruins and the River Wharfe.  Throughout the evening there will be fairground rides for children, fire eaters and street performers.  Treat yourself to a hearty hog roast whilst staying warm and cosy by the fabulous fire.

The evening’s crowning glory will be the firework finale, illuminating the night sky with a brilliant bloom of colour – all thanks to the award-winning pyrotechnics team Optimum Fireworks.

Tickets will be available online until Friday 4th – £10 for adults, £7 for children (under 14 years of age), whilst under 3s go free.  Concessions available for Bolton Abbey Season Ticket Holders.
