On 10th June 2017, The Black Horse in Skipton will play host to a children’s charity ‘Birthday Bash’. Taking place on the same day as Skipton Gala, the event is for families who cannot afford the high prices of rides and entertainment stalls at the annual funfair. For just £5, children can enjoy 3 hours of soft play, party games, magic tricks, face painting and balloon modelling as well as a bouncy castle and included refreshments.
Brainchild of The Black Horse’s Lou Whiteside, all proceeds from the day will go to The Principle Trust Children’s Charity in Skipton, who provide free family holidays for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and children with life-limiting or terminal illnesses.
After the success of Tilly’s Appeal, last year, the charity have started a new appeal to raise money for a log cabin which will enable them to provide more holidays and respite for families in need.
The event starts at 1pm on 10TH June in the upstairs function room. If you are unable to attend but wish to make a donation, you can get in touch with the charity via their website:
